An Epic Shift is Happening in Our World ©2006 | |
| It's heart breaking to read the news everyday. So many terrible atrocities, wars and disasters. So many people hurting, dying and homeless. We are in the middle of a shift in our world. This shift is to a higher spiritual energy which will change the way we live our lives in relation to each other.
This terrible time is the result of two converging powers, the power of love and fear. If we choose love, we choose compassion for the oppressed and helpless of the world and we'll do what we can to help and share what resources we have. If we choose fear, we'll think there are not enough resources to go around and we'll strive to gain something for ourselves at the expense of others.We will hoard and become protective and defensive. Love will always win and even now the balance is tipping in it's favor even though it doesn't appear so. Disasters, violence and deaths of this scale, whether they are the cause of man or nature, only occur during a time of epic transition. We have to seek within ourselves to begin our personal, inner transformation to flow with the shift. It is a time to focus on change rather than worldly trivia. We are already in eternity and where our heart is will mean all the difference of what we will become and what we will do now and in the future Throughout history changes have occurred accompanied by some form of upheavel, sometimes wars and the terrible suffering they bring or natural disasters. The story of Noah and the great flood is symbolic of this cycle. Each time it brought a fresh shift upward in the consciousness of the people but as time went on, they fell back into the negative energies of fear and hate again. The pattern continued as the world changed from the Dark ages and Medival times, to the Rennasiance and Reformations, to the Industrial age; then the Information Highway of the internet was born. Now we of the Global Community are faced with a terrible negative force trying to redestribute the resources of the world for the benefit of an elite group. It may be hard for some to believe, but the results of this intense clash between compassion and grasping and greed will be demonstrated by the hearts of the people themselves. The nations are in judgment, the valley of decision spoken of in Joel is here. When we are presented with choices between selfishness and compassion and sharing what we have, what will we do? Do we vote for the candidate who wants to end or continue war? The media may complicate and confuse the facts but the truth remains simple. If we truly desire truth it will be revealed to us. If we want love and compassion to be our guide, God will make a way for us to have it. If we feel a drawing to the false call of fear, we will be afraid of others we don't understand. We will fear that some "other" will take what we have or invade us so we have to strike first to protect ourselves. A new mind is spoken of in the New Testament. This mind is filled with love, honor for all people and respect for each other. It is a mind and heart that shares and gives because in God's plan, there is an abundance for all. There is no lack or scarcity. Can you see how the lies have gone out in the media, everyday proclaiming that there's not enough? Famine is a lie. It has been created by an enemy of humankind to take lives. The idea that we need war is another lie that we have bought into. Unless a country is truly defending itself from invasion of its own borders, wars are always fought to steal a weaker people's resources. Always. Read some history and you will know the facts. Behind every glamorous ideal of patriotism and war glory is a plot to steal from and kill innocent civilians for mercenary gain. There is no honor or heroism for a man to be used by his government to kill others for their resources. The only honor is for those defending their own and others families in their own country from oppressors and invaders. It's time to make a stand. Fence riders get no where. God said that he would spew the lukewarm out of his mouth. He never said a stand would be easy even though we would have his strength and guidance.
