| Where and how each of us will spend Eternity depends on what we hold in our heart. What guides our life? What do we use our energy and resources for? How do we respond to other people in our lives? How does our heart respond to the suffering and oppression of people throughout the world? Each one of us has an aura around us that holds our energy that centers from within and enfolds and surrounds us like a body halo. That energy is either expressing concern, compassion and love or selfishness, greed, anger or hate with a range of non-concern or lukewarm empathy inbetween. This energy we have built up throughout our lifetime will be concentrated in these different forms according to our motivations and drives. How did we spend our time? How did we spend our money? Did we spend whatever resources we had on selfish pursuits or to help others less fortunate after our own needs were met? We will be drawn to where our own energies we created takes us after we die. There we will learn the lessons we need for advancement for as long as necessary until we form new energy to release us. We judge and condemn ourselves until we learn that we are forgiven. We won't realize we are forgiven until we fully understand the depth of our sin against others. Only then will we be able to release ourselves from our own prison sentences. When we judge or condemn others we form a bond with them. Whatever we judge them for is tightly interwoven into our own soul and becomes a judgement against us. Our inner being will not release us from this bond and its serious consequences until we understand that our sin is as great as or even greater than theirs. Head knowledge does us no good here, it must be an act of sincere, heartbroken repentence. This is why forgiveness is so important to our eternal progression. Understanding the depth of our selfishness and pride leads us to a revelation of the uselessness of trying to forgive. We have nothing to forgive, we are only acutely aware of our own lack and how terribly we have treated others. When we are fortunate enough to understand this and accept God's forgiveness, we can free ourselves from our own punishment before we die. This enables us some time to build loving energy before we leave this physical plane. As long as we have breath, we have opportunity to change our energy. "What will we do with our capacity to love?" Is that capacity lost somewhere in our vain striving to get what satisfies us? It's never too late to surrender to God's forgiveness and let Him awaken the Christ consciousness within us that knows how to love and accept everyone unconditionally. Please read this! The Burning Within "For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved. John:3-17 |
