| As time goes on, events happen, things change and we change too. I have learned so many things I thought were answers and then learned later that for that point in time they were the answers but it was only a foundation for more to be built upon. For the experiences I was going through, they were exactly what I needed but on occassion of learning what I needed to know from those things, it became time to let them go. I truly believe that this is good. We can't grow without an open heart and open mind. To remain static is to die, to listen, learn and accept change is to evolve. I believe that if we keep facing the things that make us stressed and upset and accepting that we are holding on to what causes the upset-ness, we will be able to let go and gain something new. It is hard sometimes to let go of what's comfortable even if it's not good for us but when we do, we create a space for what's really ours, so things that are good and positive can enter into our world. It can mean the difference between peace and happiness, and stress, illness and depression. My affirmation lately has been ..."All that belongs to me is coming to me and if I have things that are not mine they are moving away from me to who they belong to." The search for truth is seeking our own reality. When we find out what it is everyone involved really wants in any given situation, we can adjust our intentions. The truth sometimes means that others and ourselves have different motivations and goals. As long as we are at variance relating to these goals and motivations, no one will have success. Sometimes we fool ourselves into thinking that others agree with our desires when they don't. Whether it's a personal relationship or a business arrangement, a house divided against itself will not stand. Our energy has to be flowing together harmoniously toward the same end or there will be one problem after another. When each person involved shares a common goal with a foundation based on the same core values, everyone will be able to express and share their true reality with freedom and synergy will happen. The ego's emotional control games will be over as truth becomes the reality it always has been. We create a life of illusion which brings us pain because we think we want things that aren't ours to start with. When we quit holding on to things and surrender to our own life and be who we are, just as we are, knowing how beautiful we are inside and out, no excuses to anyone, we will find joy and inner peace. Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow It don't matter what we don't know...  life's a dance, you learn as you go..." |
